the cairngorm cabin utilises much the same ground space as a shepherd hut but benefits from a higher nightly rental yield and the return on investment is quicker than a 2 person build.
the cairngorm cabin has internal dimensions of approximately 7000mm x 3000mm / wall heights of 2400mm leading to a vast curved roof.
we utilise a digitally driven construction system utilising insulated structural timber cassettes, designed with leading engineers and manufactured with pinpoint accuracy using CNC technology in a controlled factory environment
as standard: floors, walls and ceilings are 136mm thick and therefore we are creating uninterrupted insulation, we bring all our services internal of our build and incorporate them into a service cavity, all water pipes fitted with heat trace cable and then lagged, traditional looking radiator, corrugated tin finish in a number of colours, high level traditional toilet within shower room, double glazed windows and door, woodburner and fitted kitchenette.
the end of bed window is generous in size and acts as a focal point, drawing the eye outward to the views. as the temperature drops the frost stat kicks in and the pipes are warmed, the heating inside the build can be controlled remotely by the owner before arrival adding to the luxury of this build.
